Why Senate President May Face Impeachment – Rep

Senate President Ahmad Lawan may face impeachment over his comments on the resolutions of the south-south governors who met recently.

This hint was dropped by a member of the House of Representatives, Sergius Ogun, on Monday.

According to Ogun who spoke while fielding questions on Arise Television, members of the National Assembly are not happy with Lawan over what he termed loose remarks on the matter of the governors’ position on the country’s restructuring and open grazing of cattle by herders.

The lawmaker claimed that Lawan’s comments had betrayed his plans to scuttle the ongoing constitution amendment project which has the key element of restructuring of the Nigerian state.
