DSS Arrests Two Dismissed Operatives For Fraud, Vows Legal Action

The DSS has arrested two dismissed operatives, Barry Donald and Victor Godwin, over fraudulent activities and vowed legal action.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has announced the arrest of two dismissed operatives, identified as Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, over fraudulent activities, including the alleged misuse of the Service’s revered name.

The Service also assured the public that the arrested individuals will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

The DSS made the announcement via its verified X handle, @OfficialDSSNG.

The Service further stated that it has resolved to publish the names of other personnel who were dismissed in the past, in order to prevent citizens from falling victim to the possible criminal intentions of such individuals.

“Recall that the Department of State Services (DSS) recently issued disclaimers on two dismissed personnel of the Service, Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin. These individuals were alleged to have been operating under the guise of the Service to engage in fraudulent activities.

The public is hereby notified that these culprits have been apprehended and will face prosecution in accordance with the law.

The Service has further resolved to publish the names of other personnel who were dismissed in the past, in order to prevent citizens from falling victim to the possible criminal intent of any of these individuals,” the Service said in the post.
