Tiktoker Peller Escapes Fire Outbreak in Lagos Apartment

Popular content creator Habeeb ‘Peller’ Hamzat has narrowly escaped a fire incident at his Lagos apartment.

The TikToker disclosed the incident on Saturday through a post on his Instagram page, where he shared a video showing flames burning inside the apartment.

The caption accompanying the post revealed that the generator which caught fire had been newly purchased. According to him, the fire was eventually put out after about 30 minutes.

Fans and followers quickly flooded the comment section with messages of relief, with many attributing the outcome to swift intervention and sheer luck.

As of the time of filing this report, the exact cause of the fire had not been independently verified.

The incident comes months after Peller survived another scare on the Lekki–Epe Expressway. The Lagos State Police Command had arrested the TikTok star following a viral video that showed a dangerous driving incident which resulted in a crash during a live broadcast.
