Walk With God, Not Against Him
The Bible declares, “Woe to him who strives with his Maker.” When a man hardens his heart against the will of the Lord, he only prolongs his struggle and delays his peace. When a person fights the church, they often distance themselves from the very place meant to help them grow. But when a person seeks understanding, they become stronger. You cannot win a battle against God. When you resist Him, you resist the very hand guiding your life.
The Bible shows this in the story of Paul the Apostle. He once opposed Christ with passion, convinced he was defending truth. Yet his resistance left him blind and confused. When he surrendered, everything changed. His life gained direction, influence and lasting impact.
The same principle applies today. A worker who rejects correction slows his own promotion. A believer who refuses humility limits their growth. But a teachable spirit attracts wisdom and favour.
To walk with God in real life means involving Him in your everyday choices. It is not only about church activities. It is about how you speak, how you decide and how you respond when things do not go your way. It means pausing before major decisions and asking for wisdom. It means choosing honesty when it would be easier to compromise. It means accepting correction without pride and forgiving quickly instead of holding offence. Walking with God is a daily decision to trust His direction.
Instead of fighting and resisting God’s will, choose understanding. Do not fight what is meant to mould you. True strength is not stubbornness. It is submission to wisdom. Peace comes when we walk with God, not against Him. #SimpleReminder
