Deputy Speaker Kalu Cheers As Tinubu Clinches APC Presidential Ticket

Benjamin Kalu, the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on becoming the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for the general election of 2027.

Tinubu’s victory in the party’s primary election, according to Kalu, who also held the position of APC Collation and Returning Officer for the Abia State presidential primary, is a reflection of the party members’ faith in his leadership.

The deputy speaker thanked APC members in Abia State for what he described as their overwhelming support for the president during the exercise in a statement released on Sunday, May 24 by his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu.

“I was not surprised that Mr. President secured the ticket by a landslide. He is massively loved by our party members because of his courage, vision, and the reforms he has initiated to reposition Nigeria.”

“President Tinubu has proven to be a unifier and a statesman. Under his leadership, the APC remains strong, united, and focused on delivering democratic dividends to all Nigerians .”

“I have no doubt that Nigerians will vote massively to return President Tinubu for a second term to consolidate on the gains of his first tenure and complete the work of rebuilding our great nation.”

Congratulations to Bola Tinubu on securing the APC presidential ticket. This is an important step in the political process, and we hope that your leadership will focus on addressing the challenges faced by many Nigerians.
