If God Has Ever Rescued You Quietly, This Is Your Word

If God has ever rescued you quietly, this is your word. Do not scroll past it. God often speaks through ordinary platforms and unlikely quarters to remind us of something important. This may be your reminder.

There are people who clap for your success but do not know your story. They see the palace but not the pit. They see the crown but not the cross. They see the platform but not the process. Only you know how close you were to giving up. Only you know how many times you almost made the wrong decision. Only you know how many times God stepped in quietly and changed the outcome.

There were mistakes that could have ruined you, but mercy rewrote the ending. There were moments when you thought it was over, yet somehow you are still standing. Who can tell that story like you? Who can explain the tears, the fear, the silent prayers? No one can thank God for you like you.

The woman in Mark 5 who was healed did not ask someone else to represent her gratitude. She fell at Jesus’ feet herself. When you truly understand what you have been healed from, you do not worry about dignity. When you know what you have been delivered from, you do not worry about appearance. Gratitude becomes personal.

So do not outsource your thanksgiving. Do not wait for a choir to move you. Do not wait for a conference to stir your emotions. In your room, in your car, in your quiet moments, lift your own voice and say thank you to God. Remember what He has done for you.

In Luke 17, ten lepers were healed. All ten received the miracle, but only one came back to say thank you. Jesus asked, “Were not ten healed? Where are the other nine?” The miracle was shared, but gratitude was rare. The nine were healed, but the one who returned experienced something deeper. Gratitude changed him.

Be careful. Familiarity can weaken thanksgiving. The job you once prayed for is now normal. The relationship you once fasted about is now routine. The health you once begged God to restore is now taken for granted. What used to be a testimony can slowly become ordinary in your eyes.

Your life is a personal story of grace. God has carried you through things people will never fully understand. That kind of mercy deserves a personal response. Be intentional. Remember often. Give thanks sincerely. Because no one can thank God for you like you.

QUOTES

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.
― Walter Mosley, Blue Light

QUOTES

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
