PSG Thrash Real Madrid 4-0 to Reach Club World Cup Final
Paris Saint-Germain delivered a ruthless performance on Wednesday night, overpowering Real Madrid 4–0 in their Club World Cup semi-final to book a place in Sunday’s final against Chelsea.
Luis Enrique’s men stamped their authority early in New Jersey, with Fabian Ruiz and Ousmane Dembele running riot over a shell-shocked Los Blancos. Ruiz opened the scoring in the sixth minute after Dembele pressed Raul Asencio inside the box, creating the opening for a close-range finish. Just three minutes later, Dembele doubled the lead by dispossessing Antonio Rudiger and calmly slotting home PSG’s second.
The French giants showed no signs of slowing down, and before the half-hour mark, Ruiz grabbed his second after a swift team move saw Achraf Hakimi set him up perfectly. PSG continued to dominate as Real Madrid struggled to find any rhythm, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia missed a clear chance to add a fourth before half-time.
Although PSG eased off slightly in the second half, they remained firmly in control and rounded off a scintillating display when substitute Goncalo Ramos finished confidently after being picked out by Bradley Barcola.
With this emphatic win, PSG march into Sunday’s final, where they will face Chelsea, setting up a mouth-watering clash for the Club World Cup crown.
