ZDA Urges Zambian Businesses to Gear Up for Global Investment Conference in Lusaka
The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has urged local entrepreneurs and corporations to actively position themselves for joint ventures and strategic alliances ahead of the inaugural Invest Zambia International Conference (IZIC) 2025, set to take place this July in Lusaka.
In a statement issued on Friday, ZDA Director General Albert Halwampa emphasized the significance of the upcoming conference, noting that it has already drawn international attention from leading investors and high-profile business delegates from countries including China, the United States, Malaysia, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, and Greece.
“Zambian companies—whether large corporations or medium-sized enterprises—must seize this opportunity to showcase their potential, engage with global capital institutions, and explore synergies with international players eager to invest in Zambia,” Halwampa said.
IZIC 2025 is expected to serve as a premier platform for investment promotion, knowledge exchange, and deal-making, focusing on inclusive and sustainable growth through long-term partnerships. The high-level event will bring together global thought leaders and industry experts, who will share valuable insights and best practices across a range of economic sectors.
ZDA reaffirmed its commitment to helping local businesses prepare for the event by enhancing their readiness, visibility, and capacity to engage with international stakeholders. Halwampa called on Zambian businesses to take full advantage of the opportunity to establish strategic links that could transform their operations and expand their global footprint.
As anticipation builds, IZIC 2025 is poised to highlight Zambia’s growing appeal as an investment destination and catalyze new economic collaborations that align with the country’s development goals.
