Bayern Munich Beat Stuttgart 4-2 To Clinch Record 35th Bundesliga Title

Bayern Munich came from behind against Stuttgart to secure the Bundesliga crown and keep treble hopes alive.

Bayern Munich came from behind to defeat Stuttgart 4-2 at the Allianz Arena on Sunday, sealing their 35th Bundesliga title and extending their dominance in German football. The victory confirmed the championship after closest rivals Borussia Dortmund lost to Hoffenheim on Saturday.

Stuttgart threatened to delay Bayern’s celebrations when Chris Fuhrich opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a curling strike. Bayern responded swiftly, with Raphael Guerreiro equalising 10 minutes later before Nicolas Jackson, starting in place of Harry Kane, fired the hosts ahead two minutes after that.

Alphonso Davies added a third before halftime, finishing cleverly from a Luis Diaz pass to give Bayern firm control of the contest. Kane, introduced at the break for Jamal Musiala, needed only seven minutes to score Bayern’s fourth and register his 32nd league goal of the season.

Chema Andres pulled one back for Stuttgart in the 88th minute, but it did little to affect the outcome as Bayern celebrated another league triumph.

The title marks Bayern’s 13th Bundesliga success in the past 14 seasons. The Bavarians remain on course for a treble, with upcoming semi-final clashes against Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal and Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League later this month.

We are not trapped or locked up in these bones. No, no. We are free to change. And love changes us. And if we can love one another, we can break open the sky.

QUOTES

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
