BREAKING: Barr. Olaiya Abdulrahman wins APC primary for Oluyole Constituency

Barr. Abdulrahman Olaiya has emerged as the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Oyo State House of Assembly primary election for the Oluyole State Constituency after polling the highest number of votes.

According to the results announced after the primary election, Olaiya secured a total of 1,043 votes to defeat other aspirants in the race.

Hon. Jayeola Abdul Quadri came second with 989 votes, while Hon. Oke Are Aina polled 905 votes.

Other contestants include Hon. Akeem Lawal with 853 votes, Hon. Akinola Bala Akindele with 789 votes, and Hon. Femi Adeyemi, who scored 90 votes.

With this victory, Olaiya is now the APC candidate for the Oluyole State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general election.
