Breaking News: Sanwo-Olu Endorses Hamzat’s 2027 Gubernatorial Bid

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has supported Obafemi Hamzat, his deputy, in his bid for governor in the 2027 election.

The endorsement was held at Lagos House in Marina on Monday, April 27.

During his numerous consultative visits over the past few weeks, Hamzat has garnered broad support from state political and community leaders.

Remember that Hamzat’s bid for governor was endorsed by Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Additionally, Femi Gbajabiamila, the president’s chief of staff; Tokunbo Abiru, the senator from Lagos East; Wale Edun, the former minister of finance and coordinating minister of the economy; and other relevant parties have supported Hamzat’s candidacy for governor.
