Burna Boy Set To Ignite The 2026 FIFA World Cup Anthem

Burna Boy, a well-known singer from Nigeria, will perform “Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, alongside Shakira, a pop icon from Colombia.

A Nigerian musician will be featured in a World Cup song for the second time in a row.

Davido was mentioned in the 2022 FIFA World Cup’s official song, “Hayya Hayya (Better Together).”

On Thursday, May 14, the song will be formally released.

In her post, Shakira wrote: “From Maracanã Stadium, here is ‘Dai Dai,’ the @FIFAWorldCup Official Song 2026. Coming 5/14. We’re ready! ⚽️🐺 @burnaboy.”

Canada, Mexico, and the United States of America will co-host the FIFA World Cup in 2026.

The competition will take place between June 11 and July 19.
