Completely isolated politically’: Wike’s aide mocks Fubara, shares old video of him ‘insulting’ FCT minister
Mr Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has pulled out an old video clip that captured the Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, making derogatory comments against his principal.
NewsRegion had earlier reported that Fubara announced his withdrawal from the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship primary on Wednesday night.
The governor, in his statement, said his decision was not due to weakness or fear, saying he stepped aside for peace in the state.
Reacting to the development, Lere, in a series of posts on his Facebook page, said the governor has zero candidates vying for the Senate, House of Representatives and State Assembly.
According to Lere, no Local Government Chairman or Councillor is currently on Fubara’s side, implying that the FCT Minister controls the entire political structure of Rivers State.
“Totally and completely isolated politically. Yet, he is still saying he didn’t step aside out of weakness, fear or surrender”, Lere wrote.
Lere also pulled out an old video of video that captured Fubara likening Wike’s outburst to a barking dog.
