Davido Addresses Fuel Shortage Issues Following Missed Performance

Nigeria singer Davido has apologized to fans after missing a scheduled performance in Lagos, blaming unexpected travel challenges that disrupted his plans.

Fans at the venue were disappointed when the award-winning artist, who was scheduled to perform at Secrets Palace’s fifth anniversary, did not show up.

Davido clarified that he was unable to travel due to logistical challenges in a social media post shortly after.

“The world happened to me yesterday… These wars around the world have really started penetrating… finding fuel was a problem yesterday to even fly… everything had to be rescheduled,” he wrote, suggesting that global disruptions affected his ability to travel.

He also issued a direct apology to fans who had already gathered for the event. “To my fans that pulled up at Esecretspalace! Sorry! Missed. We gonna run it back again soon,” he added, promising to make it up to them.

The ongoing fuel shortage is truly taking a heavy toll on daily life, severely limiting people’s ability to move freely and access essential services. With transportation disrupted and options dwindling, many are struggling to go where they need to, causing frustration and hardship across the community. This situation underscores the urgent need for solutions to restore normalcy and ensure that people can travel without hindrance.
