During an emotional reflection, comedian Funnybone stated that he wanted to make peace with everyone.
The comedian disclosed that in just seven days, he lost two people he knew directly to cancer and buried both of his parents. He claims that the traumatic events helped him realize how fast life passes regardless of what anyone is going through.
“Grief can be painful, but at the same time, humbling. It opens your eyes to how fickle life can be. I have lost and buried both parents, and I also just lost two people I knew directly to cancer within the space of 7 days.”, he said.
“I thought the world would pause for a bit, but to my greatest surprise, we all moved on like nothing happened. Like the world just moved on.”
“I then realized that there is really nothing to this life. I stayed indoors for 3 days alone in a dark room and reflected on a whole lot of things. Then I came to the conclusion that I will make peace with every person I fell out with in the past.”
He added that forgiving himself and others has brought him a level of peace and happiness he hasn’t felt in a long time.
“I have started the process already, and the peace I have within me now is something I haven’t felt in a long while. I started by forgiving myself, and then others.
“My heart felt unburdened, and the joy I feel, I can’t even explain.”
Funnybone ended his message with a blunt reminder about life and human relationships.
“Nothing really dey this life. Na humans dey make am difficult. All man go knai one day, las las.”
Making peace with everyone goes a long way in creating a better world, and I truly applaud Funnybone for taking that admirable step. Nothing can be compared to peace — it is the foundation of life itself. Embracing peace and harmony is the greatest move we can make, and I commend Funnybone for leading by example. Peace is life.
