“Nollywood Actress Omo Local Opens Up on Marriage Crash After Husband Impregnated Her Close Friend”

Nollywood actress Victoria Ajibola, widely known as Omo Local, has shared the painful experience that led to the breakdown of her first marriage.

Speaking during a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, the actress explained that she discovered her husband had impregnated one of her close friends while she herself was five months pregnant.

According to Ajibola, the situation was especially painful because the woman involved was someone she trusted deeply and had shared many moments with.

She said that when she learned about the pregnancy, her friend was already three months pregnant for her husband. Ajibola noted that the betrayal was difficult to accept and that she could not imagine living in a polygamous marriage, which she said was against her personal beliefs.

Ajibola also revealed that her husband was not ready to accept responsibility for the other pregnancy at the time, which further complicated the situation.

The matter later escalated because her father-in-law is a pastor and her mother-in-law is a prophetess who runs a church. According to her, the family of the pregnant woman allegedly began threatening members of the church and demanded that her husband marry their daughter.

The actress said the emotional pressure from the entire situation affected her deeply. At one point, she felt overwhelmed and made a desperate attempt to harm herself.

She explained that a child in the house quickly alerted her father-in-law, who immediately intervened and ensured she received urgent help that saved her life.

Ajibola said looking back, the experience was extremely painful, especially because the person involved in the betrayal was someone she had once considered a trusted friend.

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment." - Mahatma Gandh
