The 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) will be hosted by South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha and Nigerian comedian Bovi Ugboma. This announcement represents a significant change in the on-stage chemistry of the awards.

IK Osakioduwa, who hosted the awards eleven times, will be leaving, marking the end of an era. Since the AMVCA’s launch in 2013, Osakioduwa has served as its host.
