Singer Chike cries out amid online backlash following affair with Frank Edoho’s estranged wife, Susan
The singer, who has been at the centre of intense online discussions and criticism, shared the cryptic message on X, appealing to Nigerians to have pity on him.
Taking to X, he lamented … “Pity my soul!”
The controversy surrounding Sandra Edoho, Frank Edoho, and singer Chike intensified after an alleged leaked audio conversation surfaced online.
In the viral recording, Sandra was allegedly heard discussing difficulties in her marriage while also claiming that Frank Edoho had begun suspecting a relationship between her and the singer.
Following the leak, Sandra publicly addressed the situation through a series of social media posts, where she accused Frank Edoho of repeated infidelity and emotional abuse during their marriage.
According to her, the marriage had allegedly been troubled for a long time before their eventual separation, as she also claimed that the broadcaster had relationships with several women.
Meanwhile, another leaked voice note allegedly captured Frank Edoho narrating how he confronted Chike over the rumours surrounding the alleged affair.
In the recording, the media personality was reportedly heard expressing anger while recounting the confrontation with the singer.
The ongoing drama has continued to dominate conversations across social media platforms, with Nigerians divided over the allegations, leaked recordings, and reactions from the individuals involved.
@chiukwujioke commented, “But you know pity the hole.”
@jianaOT7 wrote, “Dear men Your fellow man did what you All usually do all the time with people wife and girlfriends and you all no wan Pity his soul , Una wan crucify him 😹😹😹😹.”
@Samuelcruz910 reacted, “U no pity when u dey pound the toto ?? Allegedly oo 😂😂.”
@DozieOfficial1 shared, “Chike, i believe you are an Igbo man hence from an Igbo people perspective, it is not enough to go about asking people on social media to pity your life after sleeping with another man’s wife. A real Igbo man admits his wrongdoing and faces the husband and family with humility. Go with your family elders or respected mediators to seek reconciliation. Offer the necessary apology and whatever restitution Frank Edohe’s tradition demands -whether drinks, fines, or other symbolic items. If the family believes cleansing or reconciliation rites are needed, do them without pride. Most importantly, publicly promise never to repeat such an act again. After that you can now come to us here to ask for pity. That is how honour is restored, not by seeking sympathy from the public. My little advice.”
@mz_sookiee remarked, “Don’t mind them. You did a good thing by showing love to someone who was depressed 🥰 sisterhood is proud of you 👍.”
