The Joy Of Seeing My Father Smile – Yul Edochie

Actor Yul Edochie of Nollywood has expressed his personal opinions about his relationship with his father, stating that he never challenges his requests for money.

He claimed in an Instagram post that when his father calls for money, he sends it right away without inquiring as to its intended use.

“God forbid that I’ll ever ask my father what he needs money for. If my father calls me and says send me so so amount of money, before he finishes the call, I’ve sent it.”

“Once I have it, he’s getting it immediately. Whatever he wants to do with the money it doesn’t concern me. Whether he wants to give the money to a lady or throw it inside river Niger, I don’t want to know.”

“As long as it makes him happy, I’ll do it. My joy is to see my father happy all the days of his life.”

Like Yul, I too want my father to always be happy. He has sacrificed so much for our family, and I pray that God blesses me with the strength and means to care for him the way he truly deserves. Though I am doing my best, I often feel that my efforts are not enough to put the genuine smiles on his face that I wish for. Nonetheless, I remain committed to making him proud and ensuring his happiness in any way I can.
