Fido Reveals How He Made Almost N1bn In A Month From Music
Nigerian singer Awosika Olayemi Josiah, better known by his stage name as Fido, claims that he once made nearly N1 billion from his music in a single month.
During a live session with well-known content creator Shank, the “Joy Is Coming” hitmaker talked candidly about his financial situation.
“Almost a billion naira,” he said in pidgin English. “Between spending and income, almost a billion naira.”
The singer didn’t hesitate to name the highest amount he had ever made in a single month when asked.
Fido started his career under Inner Circle Entertainment and became well-known thanks to his hit song “Awolowo.”
A new stage in his career began in 2025 when his label, Oosha Records, announced a collaboration with international music company EMPIRE.
The singer faced criticism in March of last year after alleging financial mismanagement by his former marketing firm, Inner Circle Entertainment.
Congratulations, Fido! Your remarkable achievement of earning nearly N1bn in a month through your music is truly inspiring. Your dedication, talent, and hard work have clearly paid off, setting a new standard for success in the industry.
Wishing you continued growth and many more milestones ahead!
