Government Announces Public Holiday For Friday

In honor of this year’s International Workers Day, the Federal Government led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu has proclaimed Friday, May 1, 2026, a public holiday.

This was declared on behalf of the Federal Government by Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Honourable Minister of Interior. He congratulated employees nationwide on the celebration this year.
