A disturbing video that has gone viral on social media shows the moments of an unidentified man who is said to have died following a self-harm incident on a building’s balcony.
The man was seen holding a knife while standing on the house’s balcony in the video, which was posted on X on Wednesday by user TeddyUSD. The incident was captured by a neighbor and other residents.
A few minutes into the video, the man was seen using a knife to slit his throat while shocked bystanders cried out to him and screamed in terror.
“Somebody is killing himself o and nobody is there” one eyewitness said
“Why? Why now?” The eyewitness was heard shouting in distress.
He also repeatedly urged the man not to give up, saying, “You never die. You still get hope.”
At the end the video, the man was seen hanging on the barricade lifeless.
