Tega Dominic Explains Why She Told Friends To Avoid BBNaija

Tega Dominic, a former Bbnaija housemate, has advised potential contestants not to compete on the show because of the negative impact it had on her mental health.

Dominic claimed that after leaving the house, her anxiety got worse and eventually turned into social anxiety, which made it challenging for her to go to events without assistance.

She emphasized the need for strong mental resilience prior to participation, pointing out that the reality TV environment can be overwhelming.

“I won’t tell anybody close to me to go for Big Brother. If you’re not mentally strong, don’t go for Big Brother. After Big Brother, I used to have anxiety. It became worse. I had social anxiety, I can’t go to spaces if I’m alone. I can give you hugs, but I can’t receive hugs”, she said.

Tega Dominic’s decision to advise her friends against participating in BBNaija underscores her personal experiences and insights into the show’s challenges. Her honest perspective highlights the importance of being prepared for the intense scrutiny and emotional toll that come with reality TV fame.

Ultimately, her advice serves as a cautionary note for those considering such a path, emphasizing the need for self-awareness and resilience in the pursuit of fame.
