Priscilla Ojo, a social media influencer, has addressed concerns regarding her religious identity while also discussing the emotional challenges men encounter.
During a sit-down interview outside with content creator Jarvis, she said these things.
“Being a woman is not easy emotionally. We go through a lot, including childbirth, managing the home, and other responsibilities. We are allowed to express our emotions, but men are often expected to hide theirs, regardless of what they are going through.
“This conversation we are having now, when we get home, we will feel relieved. But for men, when they return to their private spaces, it’s often just them. What many men don’t realise is that sharing helps. They keep things bottled up until it becomes overwhelming. Life can be hard for them,” she said.
When asked whether she is a Christian or Muslim, Ojo declined to give a direct response, citing concerns about being misinterpreted.
“I would like to skip that question because people tend to twist things. My husband once granted an interview, and because he speaks Swahili, when Nigerian blogs picked it up, they misrepresented what he said. They made it seem like he claimed I must be a Muslim,” she explained.
I wholeheartedly agree with Priscilla. Men should always take the initiative to open doors and create opportunities, because an expression without an impression leads to depression.
Making an effort to show kindness and consideration not only leaves a positive impact but also fosters a sense of connection and respect. It’s essential that men recognize the power of their actions and embrace their role in making a difference, because true expression is incomplete without a meaningful impression.
