Your plan no go work, you are very embarrassing’: Singer Davido goes hard on former governor Gboyega Oyetola

Superstar Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has called out the current minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, over his alleged plan.

Davido called Oyetola out in the early hours of Tuesday, on X, revealing that his plan is “very embarrassing”.

The singer, who tagged Oyetola, a former governor of Osun State as the most desperate politician, stated that his plan had failed.

Davido wrote “The most desperate politician in the world is @GboyegaOyetola very embarrassing. Oyetola your plan no go work.”

Although the singer did not reveal full details of the alleged plan, the development is coming amid rising political tension in Osun State ahead of the governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.

Recall that Davido had earlier announced a temporary suspension of his music career for two months in order to actively campaign for the re-election of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, as governor of the state.
