Young people in Edo State now have an opportunity to learn valuable digital and entrepreneurial skills at no cost as Benin Skill Fest 2026 opens applications for participants and spots are filling up!
The initiative, organized by The Hive Network Africa, is designed to equip young people with practical, market-relevant skills that can help them improve their employability, start businesses, or participate in the growing digital economy. Benin Skill Fest will bring together trainers, professionals, and industry practitioners to deliver hands-on training sessions aimed at building real competencies rather than just theoretical knowledge. Skill like Digital Marketing, Web Development, Agentic AI, Cybersecurity/Ethical Hacking, Data Analysis (AI), Stock Trading, Photography, and Graphics Design are available at BSF2026.
According to the organizers, the program will focus on practical learning experiences that empower participants to explore opportunities in digital services, entrepreneurship, and emerging economic sectors.
The initiative is part of a broader mission by The Hive Network Africa to strengthen youth capacity development and expand access to economic opportunities across communities. Speaking about the project, the organizers noted that many young people possess talent and ambition but often lack access to structured opportunities that allow them to develop practical skills. Benin Skill Fest seeks to bridge this gap by creating a platform where young people can learn, connect with professionals, and position themselves for future opportunities.
Applications are currently open, and interested participants are encouraged to apply early.
