The Hive Network Africa Set to Empower 1,000+ Youths with Digital Skills in Benin City

Benin City, Edo State — The Hive Network Africa (THNA) has announced the launch of Benin Skill Fest 2026, a major youth skills and development programme aimed at empowering over 1,000 young people with in-demand digital and enterprise skills.

The initiative, scheduled to take place in April 2026 in Benin City, is designed to equip participants with practical, job-ready skills while connecting them directly to internships, and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Speaking on the initiative, Alex Adams, Founder of The Hive Network Africa, said the programme is built to address the growing challenge of youth unemployment and underemployment by creating a direct bridge between skills and real-world opportunities.

“Benin Skill Fest is not just about learning, it is about creating pathways from training to income, from skills to sustainable livelihoods,” he said.

Participants will receive training across key areas including digital marketing, web development, graphics design, data analytics, agentic ai, photography, and lots more, delivered by experienced facilitators and industry partners.

A major feature of the initiative is the Talent Growth Partnership, through which companies, startups and organisations will host selected participants for a structured 3-12 months internships, giving young people the opportunity to gain real-world experience while employers gain access to a pool of trained local talent.

The organisers noted that the festival is being delivered in collaboration with corporate brands, SMEs, training providers and development organisations, with partnership opportunities open for organisations interested in youth development, workforce expansion and community impact.

Registration for participants is expected to open in the coming weeks.
